Blocked Drains, Sinks and Toilets

Toilets, sinks and drains can easily become blocked. In some cases the soil pipe could block at the
communal sewer in which case a plumber will be needed straight away. When this happens you
need a quality reliable service. Chemical drain unblockers are not recommended as most of our clients
in which their sink is blocked somebody has already put a chemical unblocker down. Obviously if the
chemical unblockers worked there would be no need for us to be called out! These chemicals are also
pretty harmful.

High Pressure Water Jetting

High pressure water jetting is perfect for drain cleaning and clearing all types of blockages.It works
by blasting water under high pressure into the drain. A member of staff will then make sure that all
pipe work is clear before leaving the site.We will then use the water jet to clear out small blockages
and make sure that the pipes are clear of debris that may cause blockages in the future.

Root Removal

The intrusion of tree roots into a drain pipe could cause a serious blockage and even cause drains to
collapse. When drain jetting we use a Root Cutter to cut the roots from the drain. Once these have
been cut out we can also re-line the affected piece of pipe to guarantee no further damage from tree
roots and plants in that area.

CCTV Surveys

We use these for drain inspection for diameters from 100mm to 300mm, they are flexible enough to get
to the bottom of pipe problems such as hidden leaks, cracks and sinking that can be hidden behind
tight and inaccessible bends.

Excavate

This is something we do when it is only absolutely necessary. They are occasions when it is the only
way to do the job properly. Sometimes, it’s faster and more efficient to replace short sections of pipe
at a shallow depth by digging the old pipe up. In some cases the pipe or sewer has reached such a bad
state that it leaves us no choice.
